2022 Dues and Reinstatement of Membership

Patriots, if you haven’t mailed your year 2022 dues to President Ray Kane of the West Virginia Sons of the Revolution, please do so before January 1, 2022.

For those Compatriots whose Sons of the Revolution membership has been dropped for non-payment of dues, if you would like to be reinstated as a member of the Sons of the Revolution, please contact the West Virginia Sons of the Revolution President Ray Kane.

Death of James Bradley Thompson

We just recently learned of the death of James Bradley Thompson, a member of the West Virginia Society Sons of the Revolution.

Congratulations New Member

On behalf of the Society of Sons of the Revolution in the State of West Virginia, we would like to welcome our newest member of our society:

William Aaron Cross – his patriot ancestor is Richard Pendleton, who served as a private in Third Troop, 1st Regiment, Light Dragoons, Continental Troops, Virginia. Richard Pendleton had fought in the Battles of Brandywine, Germantown and Monmouth.

We just recently received an update message from Patriot member Lt. Gen. Robert L. “Sam” Wetzel USA (Ret) and a member of the Society of Sons of the Revolution in the State of West Virginia.
