Honor the United States military members and Veterans of our great Nation!

We have been made aware that scammers have been attempting to steal money from various organizations and members by sending emails that claim to come from an officer of the organization and requesting the recipient of the email scam to send either cash or gift cards for some made up cause.

Here is a partial email that contains part of the scam email messages:

“I need your assistance, are you available? I’m out of town, I need you to handle this for (they place the name of the organization here). We need some gift cards for donation to Veterans at Hospice Care and welfare with patients …”

The scammers will word their scam email messages in various ways, but the general idea of the scam remains similar.

DO NOT FALL FOR THESE EMAIL SCAMS!

If you receive an email like these or similar scam emails, DO NOT click on any links in the emails and DO NOT click on or save any email attachments. Delete the email.
