Death of Charles Hoult

We just recently received notification about the death of Charles Hoult, a member of the West Virginia Society Sons of the Revolution.

The officers and members of the Society of Sons of the Revolution in the State of West Virginia extend their belated but most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Charles Hoult who passed away on Thursday, March 05, 2020. Charles Hoult was a member of the Society of Sons of the Revolution in the State of West Virginia.

The following is his obituary from the Boyer Funeral Home of Waverly, OH.

Charles Hoult, 86, of Robin Road, Waverly, Ohio and formerly of Weirton West Virginia, passed 3:08 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his home.
He was born March 30, 1933 in Fairmont, West Virginia, the son of the late Harold Ross Hoult and Mary Jane (Smoot) Hoult. On May 24, 1950 he was united in marriage to Charlotte (Kyle) Hoult, who survives.
Also surviving are her son, Charles Ross Hoult, II of Weirton, WV, daughter, Cynthia Jane (Matt) Workman of Barboursville, WV, granddaughter, Jessica Layne Jones, and a great-granddaughter, Aerilyn Fae Jones.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Rebecca Jane Cassidy.
Charles was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, earned his MBA from West Virginia University and was the Executive Director of Affiliated Computer Services in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
